The 2014 Carolina Cup kicks off the race season with 4 courses: the Harbor Island Recreational “fun” race, the Money Island open race and the legendary Graveyard Elite Race on Saturday and Kids Turtle Race on Sunday. Last year, we had over 600 paddlers. this year, we expect even more.

In his 2-hour traditional (prone) paddleboard clinic, Jamie will discuss technique and strategy as well as share his experiences competing at the highest level around the world. DANNY CHING CLINIC: SUNDAY, APRIL 27, 2PM-4PM-- The Carolina Cup is excited to announce that Danny Ching will be conducting a stroke clinic sponsored by 404 this year. Danny is one of the worlds top paddle athletes and waterman and repeating Carolina Cup Elite Mens Champion.
Danny will be conducting his clinic with on water instruction where each paddler will learn proper stroke technique. Video will be taken of each paddler's stroke and after the on water session Danny will critique and make suggestions for what you will need to work on to make your stroke more efficient. Yes that is correct 2 hours with the defending Carolina Cup champion, multiple World OC-1 Champion, Multiple Battle fo the Paddle Champion... you get the point.

LAZY DOG PADDLE YOGA TRAINING: APRIL 23, 24 & 25

returning to the Carolina Cup to conduct a PaddleYoga Teacher training with the
addition of a WPA level 1 certification. The PaddleYoga Training will take place April 23rd, 24th & 25th.

hold current certifications through the American Council on Exercise and/or the
Yoga Alliance.
